Today is the last full day of school

Cookiez!!!!

Cookiez are pretty much amazing!
When I was...um.....about 4 years old I guess
My cousin Kenny and I decided we wanted to make cookiez with our moms for my birthday party
Well....as crazy 4 year olds...we got EVERYTHING everywhere and it was disaster!
So when we got into trouble...we ran out of the house wearing only our diapers

Excluded

This sucks.
Two of my "friends" are totally budding up.
Neither of them have even said anything to me at all.
I walked right past them in the hall and they didn't even agknowledge my existnce.
At all.
But they are acting the two most best of friends...and I feel left out.
It feels unfair, and it makes me feel really sad.
Like....that's just not cool at all.
Seriously.
I've stopped doing the questions thing. Someone else has started doing that.
So now it's not even the same.

So I'm sitting in my classroom...
I finished all my work, but there's probably some little detail I forgot somewhere...

I need to repaint my nails when i get home today...I don't know which color I should do

My Spring Break

So for this spring break...it was really fun
I think it's probably the best spring break I've ever had
My family and I went to Mammoth Cave!

We got to see all sorts of cool rocks, and at one point they turned off all the lights!
I was so cool!





Then, we went to this place called Dinosaur World. They had life size models of over 100 different dinosaurs!!!! My mom and I took a bunch of silly pictures with them.





Then...for the last three days we had of spring break, we went camping by a lake!
It was really hot, and I practically got eaten alive by mosquitoes, but we had smores, and hot dogs, and I learned how to climb a tree using only a sock!!!! How crazy is that?!?!


It was so much fun...So my question for today is: What did your  family do over spring break?

I hate being sick.
It doesn't EVER feel good, especially not right now.

Everybody keeps trying to make me go to the nurse, but I don't want to because all she makes you do is lie down on the dumb cot...and it never fixes anything.
I think I might throw up if I stand up, no joke.
Which would be really embarrising because I'm currently at school.
I wanted to stay home today, but I missed the bus yesterday, and I knew that If I asked to stay home, my parents might be a little upset with me.

When I grow up...

   From the day we were little, people have always asked us what we want to be. It changes every time we get older. From princess, to doctor, to a cosmetologist. Well now that I've really thought about it, I have my answer: I have no idea!! This isn't the time to focus on the future, this is the time to learn from our mistakes, make new friends, go to parties, experience things that we wont get to experience later, like being a crazy teenager! We can only be a kid once, and when we're an adult, we can't go back. So while I'm still a young teenager, I want to spend my days thinking about what color I want my hair after the purple fades away and what I'm going to wear to my best friends party. I don't want to waste my fun years now thinking about later, I'll have all those adult years to think about that. But for right now, I think I'm good on not having any clue what I want to be, and I'll just continue to be a kid while it lasts.

Activities are fun but you need to stay in school!!

Choir, sports, art, and many other after-school activities help make our school lives seem a little bit more interesting, but school is the main thing in our adolescent years that we need to focus on. School is what helps us to learn, and to find answers to questions that will be with us, possibly forever. It's not about the fact that you're in school, sure that's great, but it's about whether you're actually learning or not. School is everything on lives depend on from the day we start kindergarten, to the day we graduate college/high school. It's what gets us jobs when we need them, its what gets us money to buy food, clothes, and things we want. Without school, you wouldn't even get a job at a restaurant, because in a restaurant, there's LOTS of math, and you learn math where? School. Whether it's home school, private school, or public school, you need to be educated to be able to be the best that you can be when you grow up!

My New Years Resolutions For Reading!!

   Reading! It's so important! You do it in school you do it on your spare time, you do it every where you go! I love to read, it helps me to relax and it's my favorite thing to do at the end of the day, and when I just need a break from everyhting.
    As my New Year's reading resolution, I think I would like to start reading novels. Not your classic 300 page novel. I would like to start on BIGGER novels! My mom has told be before about an author named Anne Rice...she writes very deeply, you immediantly get hooked into the story. I love those kind of books. I love to read, but I only read when I'm interested in the book, if it's something I don't like, I'm not going to read it.
    Reading is an inspiration to me. It's so peaceful and you can't help but be happy when you read. It's like TV in your mind, but you see the characters how YOU want to see them, and the emotion in the story, you can let it be expressed however you want. It's truely amazing!

    I'm truely going to try and succeed at my New Year's reading resolution, and if you have one too, I highly encourage you to try and reach your goal! And remember, never stop reading!

Friendship

  Friendship is very important! No one, wants to be alone in the world, no one wants to travel through the hardships in life without someone there to be there for them. To support them. To help them. To be their best friend.
  Friendship is very important to me. Whenever I have a secret that I feel I can't tell my parents, I tell my best friends, because they understand, because they listen. Parents sometimes just...talk FOR you.
  I have several best friends. Some of them are actually sitting with me right now! My friend Jasmine (we call her Jazzy) is sitting across the classroom, my friend Lexi is sitting in front of me, my friend Sarah is sitting beside me, and the rest are in other classrooms.
  I love all my friends! I hope whoever is reading this has friends, or just a friend, that they can rely on when they're in need. Friends are great, and we should never take advantage of them. Friends shouldn't be a symbol of popularity, they should be a symbol of trust, and honesty. Of peace and happiness.

Well Hi! My name is Ashley (obviously), I'm 14 and I love soccer! I don't play that much, but when I have time to, I love to! My favorite color is purple but I like blue also, my favorite animal is a monkey, my favorite food is peperoni pizza, and I love sweet tea! My daddy is in the military so we move all over the place! I've been to south Korea, Japan, Hawaii, China, New Zealand, even Alaska! But my favorite place in the whole world...Paris, France! I would also like to go to Rome, and to Italy though.
